Position: Well Services Supervisor
Location: West and East Malaysia
Commence: Year 2022
Criteria:
- To supervise well intervention and integrity operations activities at the worksite in accordance with approved programs and accepted procedures, practices, and standards (i.e PPGUA, U-Image, WIMS, WIAG) to ensure safety of personnel, property and environment, as well as achieving project objective with minimum operating cost.
- To be responsible for Permit To Work (PTW) application and closure by ensuring hazards are clearly understood by the team, mitigations have been put in place and job conducted safely
- To provide on the spot decision to any technical problems encountered during well intervention and Integrity operation (i.e. well control or platform emergency) by performing detailed technical assessment, conducting risk assessment and providing prompt corrective actions to safely secure the well and minimize downtime.
- To evaluate well intervention and integrity program from technical feasibility perspective and recommend good practices to improve job efficiency, mitigate operational problems and optimize cost.
- To facilitate review of Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) during pre-mob briefing and ensure all foreseeable HSE risks have been adequately identified assessed and all the necessary risk control measures are in place and understood by the project team and contractor.
- To prepare and submit daily intervention and integrity report to engineer in charge to ensure accuracy of data for submission to the database for usage of other groups as well as to troubleshoot persisting issues.
- To track job progress and cost, contractors' performance via job progress tracking including Non-Productive Time (NPT), contractor personnel competency, reporting, incident report and HSE compliance to ensure project meets defined objectives
- To coordinate with engineer in charge, platform management, logistic and contractors on the activities to be carried out at worksite to ensure safe handling of equipment and material, and on the materials/equipment and personnel movement to the platform location to prevent costly downtime.
- To conduct inspection of well intervention and Integrity equipment / tools at the contractor's base (workshop) by witnessing acceptance and checking all tool records and test forms at worksite, to ensure the equipment are meeting the requirements and fit for operations prior mobilization to worksite.
- Coaching and training of junior engineers.
