Position: Drilling Optimization Specialist
Location: West and East Malaysia
Commence: Year 2022
Criteria:
- Attend Drill Well on Paper (DWOP), Project Risk Assessment (PRA), Standing Instruction to Driller (SID) review and any relevant well planning and operation sessions by project teams.
- Perform important administrative task by recording their time by WPD phase and step in a time-writing database, that allows to make an inventory of the projects worked on, the value assigned to that work and to allocate costs to project as applicable.
- Conduct implementation and interpretation of PWD, connection finger printing, and real-time database, hydraulics, and available offline hydraulics models.
- Forward model hydraulics using real-time surface data to calculate expected equivalent mud weight (EMW)
- Hold "Quick Hit" sessions, half an hour session for a group of 5-10 engineers in the central work area. Whenever time is available in the room, send an email and staff can join in for a special topic presentation on current findings.
- Prepare draft best practices, short and precise , based on latest lessons learned, with input from Intervention staff.
