Position: Operations Technician - Electrical
Location: Sarawak Water
Commence: Year 2022
Duration: 1 year with extension option
Criteria :
- Full trade qualification of Electrical engineering field or suitable higher education qualification. Candidate must be qualified and certified by local electrical board as Electrical Charge man A0 or higher (LV/HT). Demonstrated/proven electrical knowledge
- Minimum 5 years related experience in upstream oil and gas operations preferable offshore environment. Good working knowledge in electrical systems i.e. electrical LV/HT switch room, Standby generator, Turbine generator and synchronize panelling system. Experience in Preventative maintenance programme on all electrical equipment’s. Familiar with Electricity Supply Act, Electricity Regulations, IEE Wiring Regulations etc. Familiar with electrical distribution power system and able to translate electrical drawings.
- Shall possess min. BTEC level 2 Intermediate Diploma for Operations Technician in Oil and Gas Facilities.
- Min. shall have valid certificate of Malaysian Certificate of Education (MCE), Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)/ Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia Vokasional (SPMV) with credit in science subjects.
