Position: Construction Site Representative for Topside
Location: Korea, Myanmar
Commence: Q4 2021
Duration: One (1) Year with extension option
- BSc. / MSc. / MEng. or equivalent in engineering (preferred) or significant relevant industry experience
- Preferably a Registered Professional, Chartered Engineer or member of Professional Engineering Society
- Preferably PMP or equivalent project management certifications
- Minimum twenty-five (25) years of work experience of which at least fifteen (15) years must be as Construction Site Representative, Construction Superintendent or in Construction Management/Engineering.
- At least ten (10) years of experiences in the upstream Offshore Oil & Gas industry in Client side
- At least two (2) projects in Korean shipyards as Client Construction Manager, CSR or equivalent or extensive experience in working in a multi-culture environment
- Previously worked on integrated projects with CAPEX in excess of $300MM
- Preference for fixed platform experiences, topside dry weight over 10,000 MT or large O&G Modules
- Desirable for previous experience working on projects which include brownfield scope of work
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the construction and fabrication of offshore topsides facilities.
- Shall possess good knowledge and awareness of construction, fabrication and HSE matters including schedule, planning, progress measurement, technical and methodologies and be familiar with bridge linked fixed platform construction and brownfield construction
- Able to work independently, plan and manage manpower resources to meet the requirements of the projects
- Preference to have previous experience working with Korean shipyard(s) and have knowledge of fabrication and construction work processes, environment and characteristics of Korean shipyards
- Must possess a good understanding of the basic discipline work processes of a EPCIC project
- Must be well versed with relevant international codes and standards such as API, ASME, ISO and AWS
- Ability to multi-task, forward plan, independently manage time and perform at a high level without the need for continuous supervision
- Proactive, self-motivated, with an ability to prioritize work and make decisions to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, exercising tolerance and respect when working within a diverse and multi-national project team
- Ability to oversee work and provide mentoring to inexperienced engineers
