Position: Lead Mechanical Engineer
Location: Vietnam, Malaysia
Commence: Dec 2020
Duration: 1 year with extension option
Criteria:
- Must have Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in oil and gas industry, particularly in offshore sector
- Minimum 2 projects experience as Mechanical Engineer in oil and gas project.
- Detailed Experience in the procuremennt of packaged equipment (including pumps, compressors, pressure vesseld, pedestal cranes, etc) and the technical evaluation of vendors bids for eauipment and sub-contractor bids for the provision of services.
- Technical support of purchasing activities after purchase order issuance, including vendor data review, attending FAT as necessary.
- Broad experience of mechanical equipment, installation, operation, testing and commissioning.
- Preparation and implementing testing and commissioning procedures and involvement with testing and commissioning.
- Working knowledge of international codes and standards and the application to the operation of oil and gas facilities
- Expedite and consolidate technical requirements to meet the purchasing schedule without cost impact.
- Good communication and effectively in the English language (written and oral)
- Tolerance for successful and family separation / disorder situations
- Good computer skills with MS Office, specialized software.
- Ability to work in team environment
