Criteria:-
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure that the proper quality and manufacturing standards are maintained within construction organization.
- Coordinate and supervise the preparation of Construction QA Plan for the execution of the project, keeping track of the Construction QA/QC plan implementation.
- Assist Construction Manager in establishing training plan and performing the training of project personnel to implement QA system, as required.
- Under direction of Construction Manager, perform the assigned activities.
- Supervise field fabrication process of all works.
- Inspect vendor-supplied equipment to specification.
- Arrange for Welder Qualification Test within the terms of Standard Procedure, and issue Test Pass to the certified welders.
- Review and approve WPS & PQR prepared by CONTRACTORs.
- Consult and coordinate with NDE specialist in execution of NDE and Heat Treatment.
- Monitor and trace continuously the workmanship.
- Make regular field visits to assure that welding quality exercised by proper welder is maintained through overall welding activities and that welding work is strictly adhering to the job requirements
- Report noncompliance and issue an instruction to take a corrective action.
- Assist in selecting appropriate welding method to ensure rejection and repair rates are minimized.
- Assist the Construction Superintendent in matters of welding work and advise solutions to welding problems.
- With his full knowledge and experience, assist the Construction Superintendent and the Supervisor to find solutions and prepare guidelines.
