Duration: 1year with 1year extension option
Criteria:-
- 50 years of age and below
- Will be on office based with regular trips to offshore drilling units
- Possess BSc or BE Degree in relevant field of engineering
- Possess valid BOSIET/HUET/EBS certification
- Attended the mud school class
- Min 10 years experience in offshore drilling operations (minimum 5 years experience as drilling fluids engineer in offshore environment
- Candidate experienced working with established operator or drilling fluids company with good performance report
- Experience working with PETRONAS will be an advantage
- Good in using hydraulic simulation
- Good English proficiency and able to communicate with locals
- Possess basic computer skills (MS Office or equivalent)
- Good communication skill
- Good negotiation and persuasion skill with the vendors
- Good team work with project team members
- Technical know-how with drilling fluids from the previous field experience
- Good attitude and pleasant manner
