Commence: Q3 2019
Duration: 1 year with extension option
Criteria:
- Master/Degree in Engineering or its equivalent
- Min 15years experience in appropriate Drilling Engineering roles, including exposure to drilling offshore Malaysia
- Widely experienced in drilling operations in a variety of environments including development drilling and operations utilizing both jack-up and Tender Assisted drilling rigs
- Have a demonstrable proficiency in English, both in written and verbal forms
- Computer literate with knowledge of project control systems, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
- An experienced Engineer with good communication skills and management capability
- Full appreciation of all technical and legislative requirements for drilling operations
- A motivated self-starter, proactive, flexible ad able to respond positively to challenge and ad-hoc requests
- Ability to contribute to the team but can equally work on own initiative with minimum supervision
- Strives for continuous improvement; brings solutions and constantly seeks new and better ways to work
- An experienced Engineer with good communication skills
