Criteria :-
- To assist the CEO in his or her tasks to ensure the efficient implementation of the CLIENT Council’s directives.
- To ensure and facilitate all aspects of project development, elaboration of support required (including funding),monitoring and reporting, and follow-up.
- To undertake the day-to-day work of running the secretariat functions of the CLIENT Centre.
- To support communications and fundraising until such time as a dedicated Communications & Fundraising Executive is employed, including but not necessarily limited to:
- (i) handling media relations (including record-keeping);
- (ii)editorial assistance for CLIENT publications (national and trilateral);
- (iii)packaging funding proposals for specific target agencies, corporations, individuals, etc.;
- (iv)supporting the CEO in preparing communications and fundraising briefings for the Chairman of the CLIENT Council.
- This is a management position for a person with at least five years of relevant practical, professional experience.
- He or she must be well qualified in an environmental field (preferably at least to masters degree level),as well as having a flair for administration and the use of planning tools such as the logical framework.
- He or she must be competent at clear writing and other aspects of communication in English.
- Similar abilities in the Malay language would be an advantage.
- He or she will report directly to the CEO of the CLIENT Centre.
