Criteria:-
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering with 6years relevant experience
- Experience in the inspection, certification and operation of lifting equipment in the hydrocarbon and offshore industry
- Familiar with international codes of practice related to the design, fabrication, maintenance and inspection of lifting equipment and the techniques for their correct use
- Knowledge of welding and the main NDT techniques
- Knowledge on failure investigation on lifting equipment.
- Quality auditing experience e.g. Quality Systems, Manuals, Procedures
- Competent and experienced in writing technical reports
- Well versed in using a PC, in particular MS-Word and Excel software
- Conversant with safe working practices
