Criteria:-
- 7years as Medical Assistant.
- 3years at offshore site clinic.
- registration with Board of Medical Assistant, Health Ministry
- possession of annual practicing certificate
- managing medical emergencies at offshore
- knowledge of Malaysia’s occupational health regulations, codes of practice and guidelines.
- diploma in Accident and Emergency, Ministry of Health Malaysia.
- certificate on Advance Life (Cardiac or Trauma) Support.
- experience in conducting Health Risk Assessment.
- Chemical Health Risk Assessor (CHRA).
- Competent Person for Noise Monitoring.
- Basic Life Support Instructor or Trainer.
- First Aid Instructor or Trainer.
- Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Training.
- H2S Site Emergency Response Course
- Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
- Medic Refresher Course
- Hazard Analysis Central Control Point (HACCP)
- manage large number of medics at offshore clinics and coordinate their activities.
- knowledge in offshore operations, provision of health services and communication skills
- mobilised to remote locations at short notice during emergencies
- managing operational, administrative and logistical needs of offshore site clinic operations and its human resource and their competencies.
