Criteria:-
- Malaysian / Thai or regional expat
- strong engineering and supervisory background.
- Degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical
- 10 years’ in O&G
- 8 years in rotating machinery operations & maintenance
- Proven experience in (offshore) rotating equipment Operations & Maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Experienced in turbo-machinery surveillance, turbo-compressor overhaul, and reciprocating machinery overhaul.
- Familiar with Rolls-Royce RB211 compressor, Solar Taurus 60 turbogenerator, York refrigeration system, Caterpillar Diesel Engines and centrifugal pumps for various services like firewater, sea water lift.
- Fluency in Rotating Machinery control systems
- Strong appreciation in Condition Base Monitoring programs and RCM.
- Proven experience with Alignment, Balancing, Vibration Analysis, Troubleshooting and Problem Solving skills/techniques.
- Familiarity with Turbine Controls and Instrumentation (Entronics, Turbtronics), vibration system (DM2000, BN3300, BN3500, CSI), and others (CCC).
- Participated in turbo-machinery design and fabrication and turbo-machinery commissioning.
- Familiar with turbo-machinery retrofit project.
- Strong leadership skills and able to interact effectively at all levels, offshore & onshore personnel, Subcontractors, OEM and Vendors.
- good English communication skills.
