Scope:-
- Establishes and directs all design aspects of well construction.
- Formulates design philosophy for drilling, completion, remedial and simultaneous production operations.
- Ensures that policy, accepted industry standards, safety procedures and government regulations are strictly adhered to in all aspects of well construction.
- Directs analysis of equipment requiements, failures & problems.
- Determines design-based requirements for specialized technical equipment.
- Improves existing technology through design analysis and assesses new technology for potential application.
